John White, Chairman & CEO
John leads the firm's sales and strategy development on behalf of our clients. Classically trained in marketing, John became the youngest Director at Acosta, the leading sales and marketing agency for the grocery trade, before founding Compass. John is very active in the community and directs Compass’s philanthropic activities and support through our foundation, Compass Cares. He currently serves on the board of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation. In the past he has served as President of iFred (International Foundation for Research & Education of Depression), a 501(c)3 healthcare non-profit, and on the board of the United Way Campaign of Maryland. John holds an MBA in Marketing & Management from the University of Baltimore.

  Larry McWilliams, Co-CEO
Prior to Compass, Larry was President and Chief Executive Officer of Keystone Foods. Prior to joining Keystone Foods, he served as President of Campbell Soup USA as well as President of Campbells International. As CEO Larry managed the global operations for Keystone, including over 13,000 employees and over $7 billion in annual revenue. Larry has worked at a number of other high-profile consumer brands and manufacturers including The Coca-Cola Company, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pillsbury, General Foods and Del Monte. He graduated Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Economics. He is a member of the board of directors of Godiva Chocolatier, Inc., Armstrong World Industries, and Bob Evans.
  Ralph A. Panebianco, President
Ralph is a leading sales and marketing expert with more than four decades of experience in the Consumer Products Industry. He began his career in the consumer products industry with Scott Paper Company before moving to serve in many industry leadership positions including CEO of MAI–Chaimson and President, Strategic Channels at Acosta. At Acosta, he was responsible for an 800 member team managing Convenience/Confection, Mass, Club, Drug, and Alternative Channels. Ralph has been extremely active in the industry, serving on several Advisory Boards for Fortune 100 consumer products companies and currently is the chairman of a number of manufacturer-broker advisory councils. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University.
  Daniel J. White, CFO
Daniel is the firm's Chief Financial Officer and has extensive legal experience. He serves as an Assistant State's Attorney. Daniel earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from James Madison University. He earned his J.D. from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Daniel currently resides in Leonardtown, Maryland.
 
  Michael White, VP of Operations
Mike leads the Compass Operations team to guide the company's growth and support services, specifically managing the Human Resources, Accounting, Finance and IT Departments. He has more than 30 years in senior management experience with the Maryland State Police, including his tenure as a Lieutenant where he coordinated Homeland Security efforts for the state.
  Marty Monserez, President of Sales
Marty enjoyed a successful 35-year career at Procter & Gamble. He was a member of P&G’s first multi-functional Category Business Team for Pampers, which later became P&G’s standard model for managing brands. He led P&G’s business in the Mass Merchandiser, Drug and Club channels and was later responsible for the national sales strategy and planning for P&G’s Dish and Floor Cleaner Categories. Mr. Monserez led one of the industry’s initial multi-functional customer teams, serving as P&G’s SUPERVALU Team Leader. He also led P&G’s Convenience & Specialty Channels where he led the development of the snacks Multi-Vendor Endcap (MVE) merchandising strategy that 200 Convenience distributors and 35,000 retailers have adopted. Mr. Monserez has two degrees from Butler University (B.S. in 1974; MBA in 1976). He is a former Butler basketball coach and was a 2005 inductee into Butler’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
  Scott Lester, Executive Vice President of Sales
Scott brings close to 25 years of experience in sales and merchandising to the Compass team. After beginning his professional career at TC Sports, Inc., Scott joined Folsom Corporation in 1990 where he would work as their Regional Accounts Manager as well as their Sales and Merchandise Manager. From there he joined Ellett Brothers, Inc., where he started as a Senior Purchasing Agent and was promoted to the Director of Purchasing. Lester would spend ten years with Ellet Brothers, Inc. before joining Remington Firearms in 2004 as their Director of Licensing. He finished his career at Remington as the Director of Product Management & Marketing FGI Accessories & Licensing before joining Compass Marketing Inc. in 2011. Scott received his BS in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
 

Christopher A. Feiss, Senior Vice President, Finance & Strategy
Chris leads our Finance and Strategy efforts including investments, partnerships, financial management and capital strategy. He is a former Managing Director and Group Head at Oppenheimer & Co. and Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown where he led Consumer and Business Services teams in Investment Banking and Equity Research focused on tech-enabled services. He has more than 20 years experience in investing and advising companies and has led or sourced transactions with a total value of more than $1 billion including a number of first-to-market deals in new growth areas like marketing services, e-commerce, and education technology. He has also served as Chief Administrative Officer of Baltimore Toolworks and as a Board Observer to CMC. He earned his BA from Colby College where he has served as an Overseer. Chris has also served as trustee to Education and Social Infrastructure focused non-profits in the Baltimore area for many years.

  Al Yuen, Senior Vice President International and Strategic Alliances
Al has over 20 years experience in the CPG industry and has worked for Unilever and recently Johnson & Johnson. During his 16 years at Johnson & Johnson, Al worked for 4 different J&J Consumer Operating Companies and has held various roles both domestically in the US and Internationally. Al's most recent role was the Director, Emerging Markets for J&J/McNeil Nutritionals division where he was responsible for leading the global expansion strategy and new market development as a key growth platform. Al lived in China for 2-years where he was responsible for establishing the SPLENDA® business in China and the Beijing 2008 Olympic Marketing Activations. Al led the start-ups of SPLENDA® Brand Sweetener in Argentina, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Philippines, and the Middle East, and also worked on acquisitions. Al has extensive and broad range of experience in sales and marketing, global expansion and business start-ups, multiple categories and channels, and building strategic partnerships. Al graduated from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania where he earned a bachelors degree in Marketing.
  Mike Cockrell, Vice President Business Development
Mike is a retail expert with 31 years of experience with Wal-Mart. Mike joined Wal-Mart in 1980 as an Assistant Manager and moved to the Wal-Mart Home Office in 1984. Mike worked as a Buyer, Senior Buyer and Vice President Divisional Merchandise Manager responsible for the Consumer Electronics, Photography and Pet businesses. Mike returned to operations in 1993 as Regional Vice President, until 1997 when he became Vice President of Marketing. As VP, he acted as a voice of the customer and keeper of the brand positioning for Every Day Low Prices. In 2004, Mike joined the International Division as Global Vice President of Marketing and was responsible for guiding and influencing the Brand Positioning, Marketing, Private Brands and advertising in the 13 international markets Wal-Mart then operated in. Mike joined the Wal-Mart India Team as Chief Merchandising Officer in 2007. Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Mike spent four years with Kmart. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the University of Arkansas in Monticello, Arkansas.  
  Alisa Greenwood, Vice President of Marketing & Creative Services
Alisa leads Compass’s marketing and design team which provides a full suite of marketing, PR, merchandising and advertising services. Alisa was Executive Producer and owner of Clickit! Creative Interactive Design Group. She was also a Producer for Mullin/Ashley & Associates Advertising Agency as well as Event Producer for EDR Media Production Company. Alisa is a graduate of Ohio University with a B.S. in Communications.  
  Anthony Cognetti, Vice President, Confectionary & Snacks
Tony is a candy and confectionery sales industry expert with more than 30 years experience in the CPG Industry. Tony has held many leadership positions including Senior Vice President of Vendor Relations for QDN; President for both the D.C. Sales Company—a Metro New York Confectionery brokerage house—and the New York Candy Club; and Vice President of Confectionary for M.W. Houck—a Metro New York food broker. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the National Confectionery Sales Association and was inducted in to the NCSA Candy Hall of Fame in 1996. Tony received his B.A. in Business from the Pennsylvania State University.
  David Boshea, Group Vice President
Dave leads the Compass Midwest team with a significant focus on the hardware, office and B2B channels. Dave served as National Accounts Team Leader for both Energizer and Wyeth (formerly American Home Products), and was National Director of Sales for Hanover Foods. Dave is a member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Illinois and received his B.S. in Marketing from Central Michigan University.
  Jesse Williams, Group Vice President, Inside Sales
Jesse leads the Inside Sales Team at Compass and has 15 years background in sales management and affinity programs with MCI/UUNet, Savvis Communications and Qwest Technologies. Jesse's team at MCI/UUNet is credited as one of the most successful Inside Sales teams to date, increasing annual revenues from $200 Million to $3.5 billion in four years. Jesse is a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Association and he attended the University of Maryland.
  Gary Panebianco, Group Vice President
Gary leads the Mid Atlantic Sales team with particular focus on the Office, Travel and redistribution channels. Gary began his sales career with Kraft General Foods and most recently served as Team Director at Acosta Sales and Marketing where he was promoted five times during his tenure. Gary is the recipient of numerous industry and Broker of the Year Awards. Gary received his B.S. in Marketing from Loyola College of Maryland.
  Owen McGreevey, Account Executive
Owen brings years of experience from managing national sales for Pfizer. During Owen's career, he was promoted as a Retail Team Leader, Category Development Manager and Business Development Manager. He served as Category Development Manager of Kmart and then Business Development Manager of Convenience and Kit Packaging nationally. Owen earned several awards including Retail Unit Manager of the Year as well as several Gold Cup Awards. He earned his degree from Northern Illinois University in 1978 and resides in Naperville, IL.
  Greg Acken, Group Vice President
Greg has worked in a variety of Sales and Marketing assignments across multiple channels for major corporations over the past twenty years. Starting in the Food Service channel for Procter & Gamble in 1987, Greg progressed through various regional and national sales roles with Kraft General Foods, Nestle and Unilever. During this time he was responsible for managing the sales efforts of broker networks and directly accountable for growing volume and profit with major National Account chains via the sale of both branded and proprietary products.
At Dannon, Greg served as National Sales Manager of the field sales and broker teams and later directed the National Accounts team with a focus on Non-Commercial customers. He joined Johnson & Johnson's McNeil Nutritionals in 2006 as Director of Food Service sales and more than doubled Splenda sales volume in the Food Service, Convenience and Office Coffee channels during his time there. While at J&J, Greg later oversaw the efforts of the Club, E-Commerce and Alternate Channels sales teams. Greg holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University.
  Eileen Burgess, Director of Sales Communication
Eileen Burgess manages the Customer Service and Communications Departments for Compass Marketing. She manages direct interaction with our clients and customers and her team ensures efficient and accurate orders and fulfillment. Previously, Eileen served as manager for the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action, Office of External Affairs as well as National Sales Manager for the International Armament Corporation.
 

Adam Reiter, Director of eCommerce
Adam has served in a variety Executive Management and Marketing roles over past 30 years at many of the leading CPG companies including Gillette, P&G and Reckitt Benckiser. Throughout the last several years Adam has been charged with leading eCommerce teams to grow brand profitability by developing and building programs with some of the largest eCommerce brands including Amazon, Drugstore.com and Quidsi. Most notably, Adam was responsible for doubling brand sales year over year through Amazon from $13MM in 2013 to $56MM by the end of 2015. Adam is the recipient of many awards including Gillette’s VIP Club, Gillette Circle of Excellence and P&G Building the Business Award. Adam is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, where he earned a BA in Speech Communications/Public Relations and Marketing. Adam is an avid outdoorsman and lives in the Pacific Northwest where he enjoys fishing, golfing, hiking and skiing.
